Our Catholic faith is at the heart of our school. A rigorous religious education curriculum is implemented throughout the school. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd forms the foundation of our Kindergarten through Year 2 religious education programme and the school houses a Level 1 and 2 atrium.

A deeper living of our faith is part of each day in various forms, whether this be through formal classes, learning, prayer, special events, atrium time, retreats, individual reading, or other special events. The school community prays together at the start of the day, at noon with the Angelus, and at the end of the day. Further, students are encouraged to pray regularly on their own to explore their relationship with God. They experience different ways of praying such as Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Stations of the Cross, or Lectio Divina. We participate in the Jubilate Deo Sacred Music Program, forming our students in the rich history of the Catholic Church in Her worship and liturgy. Students attend Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation regularly. Further, teachers take their classes to the church for lessons and prayer opportunities. The liturgical calendar of the Church year shapes our focus throughout each month. Seminarians from the Seminary of the Good Shepherd visit our classes each Friday to teach lessons and classes adopt a seminarians to pray for during the year.

Throughout the year, students enter into various opportunities for service and evangelisation, knowing that faith is meant to be shared. The school works closely with our parish to offer opportunities for parents and families to enter more deeply into the life of the community.
