Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
At St. Peter Chanel Catholic Primary School, we believe that leadership is an opportunity to serve others, to guide by example, and to reflect the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. Student leadership opportunities at various stage levels are designed to foster a spirit of service, responsibility, and integrity among our young leaders.
Student leaders serve as role models and representatives of the school’s values and ethos. They are entrusted with the responsibility of encouraging others, promoting a positive school culture, and helping to foster an environment of respect, kindness, and cooperation.
Key responsibilities of SPC student leaders are to:
- Act as positive role models for peers, demonstrating integrity, respect, leadership, initiative, and responsibility.
- Assist teachers and staff in organising and promoting school events, activities, and initiatives.
- Foster a sense of community, inclusivity, and faith within the school.
- Serve as a voice for their fellow students, bringing concerns and suggestions to the attention of staff and administration.
- Encourage and uphold the values of the Catholic faith, both within the school and the wider community.
Our school aims to foster a community of young leaders who are committed to serving others, promoting Catholic values, and reflecting the love and light of Christ. Our leaders are not only entrusted with school responsibilities but also with the privilege of guiding their peers to live out their faith with virtue and joy.
